Angela Hubel

Hands are the source of inspiration which constantly motivates Angela Hubel to invent new rings.

Angela Hubel from Munich, Germany, is one of today's most creative jewelry designers. Her designs are created to emphasize the beauty of hands and fingers in particular. The hand is the showplace and arena for between the finger rings, concave rings, pearl rings, loop rings and many more varieties. But not every ring fits on every finger. Some rings are intended to accentuate the space between two fingers; such rings are usually worn on the middle finger. Other rings are specially conceived for wearing on the right or left hand; their shapes conform to the side specific curves of the back of each hand. There are also some rings which can be worn in two directions and on different fingers.

Of all the body's parts, the hand is the one with the most character and that is why it is the most important part of Angela's creative process. "In its own particular way, a ring is a very special piece of jewelry," Angela explains. "Since its wearer can see themselves wearing it, a ring is often able to give more pleasure than any other type of jewelry."*

We welcome Angela Hubel to our boutique.
